After all, to most of us, these german engineered vehicles can be a bit intimidating when it comes to working on them, but this book gets you over that pretty quick. Hell, its nice to have just for the bolt torque ratings alone. The book has all steps written out fairly clearly if your somewhat handy, and pictures to assist. The pictures arent exactly exhaustive, but they are enough to get the job done. There is always room for improvement, and this book certainly isnt for experienced mechanics, but for a DIYer looking to save a serious amount of money servicing their own benz, then Buy it, you wont be dissapointed.Found it to be helpful in addition to YouTube videos.If you plan on doing your own work, this is like the Cliff Notes version of a repair manual!For owner-performed maintenance, and even some major repairs, this is the best commercial manual available for the money. A bit of a let down, as this job can be done with the appropriate coil spring compressor and top strut removal socket tool from MB. Could do with a lot more in detail on wheel bearings and seals which incorporated the pulse ring for the ABS and cruise control etc. Good info on brakes and lots of sher stuff though. Another let down its printed on cheap paperback type paper, rain or oil and that page is ruined. Cannot understand why they done this.
